Biography  

Prior to joining the Hasso Plattner Institute in November 2025, she worked for ten years in now-exiled independent Russian media and completed internships with foreign media outlets and international organizations in the United States, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Norway. Together with her colleagues, she received the Apple Podcasts Award in 2020 for a daily news podcast, as well as an independent award in 2022 for the same podcast and in 2023 for an analytical newsletter.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Business Journalism and a Master’s degree in Political Science, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia.
